Foodchem officially changed its Chinese name, choosing "Biotechnology" to replace"Chemical" in the old name.
Foodchem began to research and development of its own branded products. The company hired senior engineers to develop new products such as sweeteners, complex sweeteners, table sugars, hydrophilic colloids, meat products, enzyme preparation products, and capsule vanillin to meet customers need.
